Meanwhile President of the National Omni Bus Association Anthony Bacchus says years has passed since this country has been affected by any natural disaster and therefore the government has had enough time to deal with their aftermath.

Bacchus says for many omnibus operators, the roads are their livelihood and that the government has a responsibility of meeting their needs as well.

Bacchus who is also a mini bus operator says NOBA has been unsuccessful in their attempts to reason with the government and they will proceed with the industrial action for better road conditions. He also made it clear that the presence of the Minister of State at their meeting which will be held on Sunday to discuss the length of the strike….is not welcomed.
