The Opposition New Democratic Party, joined other groups in SVG including Rise Hairouna, to stage a protest in capital Kingstown yesterday against what they say are several social ills and injustices taking place in the country.

Supporters from the various groups and concerned Vincentians congregated outside the Parliament building from as early as 10 am to raise their voices against the issues they believe to be pertinent.

Our News Team was on the ground and spoke with several persons who shared their reasons for joining the picket line, one of the more successful efforts seen in recent times.

As the crowd grew more persons openly shared their views for being apart of the protest action.

Several of the protestors also shared why it is important for Vincentians to lend their voices to the cause.
