Mark McDonald, a 15 year old student from Belair, died on the spot Monday, after a  bicycle he was riding collided with motor vehicle TB 622 driven by 43 years old landscaper, Edwart Joseph.

The accident took place along the Belair Public Road heading towards the mineral spa water near the bridge around 2:30 pm.

On the scene, a neighbour of the family of the deceased described him as a polite child.

The heartbroken woman said the motorcycle that the boy was riding belongs to her children and they were all at home hours before the accident.

Delron Morgan, a 12 years old student who was also involved in the accident escaped with minor injuries.

This is the second fatal accident for the year. The first victim was also a Belair resident – Shavel Cain who died on the Mandela Highway on July 18th.
