    Protesters and organisers could be charged for breach of the Public Order Act

    According to Commissioner of Police Colin John, persons who took part in the protest in Kingstown last Thursday August 5th and the organisers could be charged for breach of the Public Order Act 396 Revised Edition of the Laws of SVG 2009.

    The police commissioner said section five of the Public Order Act gives certain instructions for persons who wish to hold a public protest or procession.

    Assistant Superintendent of Police John Ballah further explained the Public Order Act.
