The RSVG Police Force has signaled its intention to enforce the Public Order Act.

In a news release issued yesterday, it was noted that at a meeting of the gazetted officers of RSVG Police Force on Friday August 6th, 2021, it was concluded that purportedly “peaceful protests” have become less and less peaceful and reminded members of the active political parties, trade unions and the public at large of the Public Order Act, chapter 396

Encouraging everyone to abide by the laws and in this case the Public Order Act, chapter 396, the RSVG Police Force extends an invitation to the political parties, trade unions and the public to visit the office of the Commissioner of Police, if there is need for conversation and clarification on the matter.

The police said it will strictly and responsibly enforce the act and other laws of SVG.
