    Pilot project uses volcanic ash to make blocks

    A pilot project, which includes volcanic ash block making and training of BRAGSA workers over the next sixteen weeks was launched at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

    As we hear in this report, the block-making is expected to reduce BRAGSA’s cost of rebuilding homes affected by the eruptions of La Soufriere volcano in 2021.
